According to the Seattle PI, citing the Sacramento Bee, free agent guard Chester Pitts is visiting with the team today as well as tomorrow.

Pitts has extensive starting experience in Houston, where he started 114 consecutive games before being cut down by injuries last season; his knee injury is definitely a red flag to be considered.

He also worked under Alex Gibbs and his zone blocking scheme in Houston, the match appears seamless. If signed he steps in and becomes the best offensive lineman on this team, (unless Walter suits up), this would be a good coup for this blocking challenged squad.

Pitts has also visited with the 49ers as well.
