Teams with a definite need at the safety position got some good news today, with Miami choosing to release Gibril Wilson, making him a unrestricted free agent and free to sign with any team he chooses.

Wilson’s agent, Alvin Keels, reported the decision through his Twitter account a short while ago, and while Wilson will not likely draw a major contract this year, a mid-level deal with a contender is definitely a possibility. Teams that will likely be interested in Kansas City, Minnesota, Seattle, Arizona, New York Giants, and Chicago.
