T.O. trade to Chicago not likely at this point

Sports Illustrated’s Peter King is adamant in his belief that Bills WR Terrell Owens will stay put through the league mandated trade deadline, which is October 20th, and not be traded to the Bears, as many pundits around the league have speculated.

Owens signed a one year deal with the Bills during the off-season, but has thus far failed to live up to expectations, and while he’s stayed fairly mum through Buffalo’s horrible start to the season, a trade may be in the Bills best interest right now. That said, trades always take two to tango so to speak, and the Bears have not yet given any signal that they’d be open to having Owens join their club.
