According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Browns RB James Davis is expected to have surgery to fix a torn labrum in his shoulder. Apparently, Davis suffered the injury during drills after practice, when he wasn’t wearing pads.

The Browns are denying any knowledge of the incident, but this definitely doesn’t look good for the new regime, as it could lead to league repercussions if they were found to be responsible for the injury. We’ll keep you updated when more information comes out.
