Former Chiefs coach Frank Gansz in hospital; outlook is not good

In a sad note to finish off a day of extremely interesting news, former Kansas City Chiefs head coach Frank Gansz has been hospitalized due to complications he has suffered after he underwent knee replacement surgery, according to Bob Gretz. The exact prognosis is not known at this time, but his son, Frank Gansz Jr. is currently en route the hospital in Dallas and the family is expecting the worst.
Gansz is currently working under June Jones at Southern Methodist University.
