This time of year is always interesting as teams inevitably clamor all over each other to be first in line to bring in key free agents. Some teams do a better job at this than others, but it doesn’t always translate into a player signing with the team without taking a look around the block a bit to make sure there isn’t a better deal to be had someplace else.

• OG Geoff Hangartner (Panthers) will sit down with the Bills this weekend

• RBs J.J. Arrington (Cardinals) and Correll Buckhalter (Eagles) will meet with Denver

• St. Louis has set up a sit down with LB Bart Scott (Ravens)

• S Renaldo Hill (Dolphins) will be in Denver today to talk with the Broncos

• Detroit is scheduled to meet with WR Nate Washington (Steelers) sometime today

• The Giants are bringing LB Michael Boley to NYC for a visit today

• DE Chris Canty is on his way to meet with the Redskins in D.C.

• Baltimore is hosting CB Dominique Foxworth later today

• The Broncos will meet with WR Jabar Gaffney
