This time of year is always interesting as teams inevitably clamor all over each other to be first in line to bring in key free agents. Some teams do a better job at this than others, but it doesn’t always translate into a player signing with the team without taking a look around the block a bit to make sure there isn’t a better deal to be had someplace else.
With that in mind, here’s a few of the visits that have been scheduled so far… we’ll keep adding them as they come in, so check back often for the latest news.
Friday – 02/27
- CB Ronald Bartell (Rams) is headed south to meet with the Saints
- The Rams have slated a meeting with center/guard Jason Brown (Ravens)
- OG Geoff Hangartner (Panthers) will sit down with the Bills this weekend
- RBs J.J. Arrington (Cardinals) and Correll Buckhalter (Eagles) will meet with Denver
- St. Louis has set up a sit down with LB Bart Scott (Ravens)
- S Renaldo Hill (Dolphins) will be in Denver today to talk with the Broncos
- Detroit is scheduled to meet with WR Nate Washington (Steelers) sometime today
- The Giants are bringing LB Michael Boley to NYC for a visit today
- DE Chris Canty is on his way to meet with the Redskins in D.C.
- Baltimore is hosting CB Dominique Foxworth later today
- The Broncos will meet with WR Jabar Gaffney
