Lewis looking to Denver for a new home?

Don’t look now, but the Broncos are making a surprising push to get LB Ray Lewis into the fold, and given his current disdain for the Ravens offer, Lewis could find his way out west before the weekend is up, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Denver is switching to a base 3-4 defense under new defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, and is in desperate need of a stabilizing presence in the middle. Nolan is close to Lewis from his days in Baltimore and could be a major factor in luring him away from the Ravens.

While Lewis is getting up there in age, his demeanor and leadership on the field are second to none, and after watching their defense play some of the most uninspired football in recent memory last year, the Broncos seem determined to rectify that issue immediately this off-season.
