Hall rakes in the cash with new deal in D.C.
That didn’t take very long.
Just a few short minutes into the 2009 free agency scramble, CB DeAngelo Hall has finalized a contract with the Redskins that will make him a very wealthy man, according to Adam Schefter (NFL.com).
The deal is slated to pay Hall $54 million over six seasons, with $22.5 million of it guaranteed.
Hall would have been the top corner available and there was some talk of him testing the market before coming back to the table in Washington, but apparently Redskins owner Dan Snyder decided enough was enough and went all out to keep him in the nation’s capital instead.
