According to the Associated Press, the Broncos have hired Ben McDaniels as an offensive assistant for the team. Normally this wouldn’t make much of a buzz, but given that McDaniels is the little brother of Denver head coach Josh McDaniels, it’s a little bit more newsworthy.

The younger McDaniels was most recently the quarterbacks coach for Massillon Jackson High School in Ohio, and has spent time as a graduate assistent under Glen Mason during his tenure at the University of Minnesota. He also was a quarterback for Kent State from 1999-2001.
