According to the Rocky Mountain Press, the Denver Broncos have finished their assistant coaching search on the defensive side of the ball, by hiring Don Martindale (Raiders) to coach the linebackers, Ed Donatell (UW Huskies) to lead their defensive backs, and Wayne Nunnelly (Chargers) to handle the defensive line.

Of the three, only Martindale is a surprise, as he was reportedly a frontrunner for the head coaching position in Oakland up to a few days ago.
