It must be the water…
The Giants thought they were done with players having negative incidents with guns after WR Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg, late in the 2008 regular season.
They were wrong.
According to the Associated Press, little used New York WR Taye Biddle was shot multiple times to his hand and leg during a visit with his family in his home town of Decatur, Alabama. Close friends of Biddle reported that he is in good spirits and plans on making a full recovery.
Police do not believe that Biddle had anything to do with the shooting and that it was more or less a random act of violence. Biddle attended Ole Miss and was promoted to the 53 man roster on the Giants after the Burress incident.
