12:15pm: The rumors were flying everywhere this morning, and as far as anyone can tell, no one candidate has locked the position down in St. Louis. Adam Schefter (NFL.com) is reporting that he has received conflicting reports throughout the week and it’s anyone’s best guess on who will emerge on top.

8:00 am: The Rams have whittled their list of candidates down to two, focusing on bringing in a new head coach that places emphasis on a strong defense, and according to Jason Cole (Yahoo! Sports), they could make their decision as early as today.
This would indicate that a move towards Leslie Frazier (Vikings) or Steve Spagnuolo (Giants) is in the works, with Frazier seemingly the leader in the clubhouse, after a strong interview earlier this week.
