Google Pixel 3 Photos, Specs Revealed in New Leak

Thanks to recent events, there isn't much mystery surrounding the upcoming Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. We have seen plenty of leaked photos of the Pixel 3 XL, which is the one that will have a notch (presumably), but now there is a new batch of photos that show the regular Pixel in real-life form.

Ever since a rumor surfaced this past May, it's been expected that Google would debut its first Pixel-branded smartwatch alongside the Pixel 3 this fall (a Pixel Watch, if you will).

An anonymous person uploaded the photos to Imgur and posted a link on Reddit. The smartphone appears to have a glossy finish and long volume rocker and power button. A4RG013A is likely the Pixel 3, while the Pixel 3 XL is presumably A4RG013C. Meanwhile, Google's "G" moniker and a fingerprint scanner are present at the back. We're seeing the familiar glass top part of the back, and yes, there is no notch on the front, but we already knew that. The phone will have a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080, running at 60Hz and 440ppi. The app also confirms the hardware specs of the dual front camera setup (both 8MP) with one sensor offering dual aperture f/1.8-f/2.2 while the other has fixed f/1.8, though the poster speculates the hardware specs app could be getting confused.

The Google Pixel 2 was G011A and the Pixel 2 XL was G011C, so it seems to line up perfectly. The G0xx naming scheme is also used for the Google Clips camera.

Google is expected to launch the Pixel 3 phones and other hardware on October 9th in NY, according to a recent leak.
