Youtube star dies in horrific Dh734,000 supercar crash

According to the Daily Mail, police reports show that the 18-year-old Heitmann, who was known in the gaming community as "OG McSkillet", was speeding in his McLaren on Thursday afternoon, driving in the wrong direction on I-805 HOV, where he crashed into the Hyundai SUV driven by marriage and family therapist Aileen Pizarro. Two other people in the Hyundai - a 43-year-old mother and her 12-year-old daughter - were killed. A spokesperson for the San Diego County Department of Public Safety confirmed the driver involved in the crash was Trevor Heitmann. He tells Fox 5: "Best little sister a brother could ask for".

The San Diego Coroner confirmed that Heitmann was killed after crashing his auto while driving in the wrong direction, along with two others.

Heitmann died from blunt force trauma, the medical examiner's office said.

California Highway Patrol told the Los Angeles Times that the accident involved nearly a dozen vehicles and shut down traffic on the northbound lane of I-805.

Officials say they are investigating the crash. He also had a YouTube channel with almost 900,000 subscribers.

In one video, from December 2017, Heitmann discussed his vehicle, a 641-horsepower black McLaren 650S, which he said "beats just about every other super auto in a drag race". Traffic was halted on the northbound side of the freeway for several hours. As a channel based around titles with the word "weapon" in them, it's likely that many of McSkillet's videos were losing out on ads due to their content.

McSkillet made a fortune selling custom digital "skins" that change the look of in-game characters or items, which were used on weapons in the first-person shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Police say his McLaren sports vehicle was driving at high speed in the wrong direction near San Diego.

Witnesses reported seeing the driver of a black sports auto slam through the gate, get out of the vehicle, smash a window on a school building and speed out of the campus parking lot.
