There is no Willian problem, says Chelsea boss Sarri

Maurizio Sarri expects David Luiz to have an integral role at Chelsea this season. "Pedro is very important for us".

"I would like my players to have the personality and to be able to think in their minds that we are at the same level [as City]".

Sarri, who has not won a trophy in his career, said: "The match for us is very hard for one reason: they have worked all together for two years".

"We're looking forward to it", the 27-year-old said. "I think we can do very good things together".

Chelsea appointed Sarri last month as the successor to Antonio Conte, who led the Blues to FA Cup glory by beating Mourinho's Manchester United in last season's final.

"I want to win, because it is very important to have a trophy immediately. I spoke about positions and characteristics but no names", Sarri told reporters.

With Palace's opening game of their Premier League season away to newly-promoted Fulham in just one weeks time, they will need to move quickly should they want to secure his services for the start of the season.

"Not a serious injury", Sarri said.

Courtois has been linked with a £35million move to Real Madrid while Hazard too is a target for the La Liga giants as per Daily Mail.

Sarri added: "I talked with the club about the market but only one time, maybe two times". "I feel good after three days of training, of course I am not my best performance, my best condition". The player was due to return on Monday following his exploits with Brazil in this summer's World Cup.

"Chelsea could get a fair fee for him now and sign a replacement". He is already the technical and tactical leader on the pitch, and the rest of the Premier League should be relieved that Pep Guardiola did not manage to bring him to City.
