Testament to the undimmed star power of Tom Cruise, the sixth edition of the 22-year-old Mission: Impossible franchise dominated ticket sales around the world last weekend.
"Christopher Robin", Disney's live-action adaptation based on characters from Winnie the Pooh, picked up an additional US$4.8 million internationally for a global start of US$29.5 million.
The sequel added another $35.0 million in receipts this weekend, bringing its cumulative haul to $124.5 million.
