Sarri confirms talented youngster part of his Chelsea plans

Willian, in recent time, has been a subject of heavy interest from the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United.

Hudson-Odoi made his Premier League debut in January and went on to feature once more last term, having previously played an important role in England's victorious Under-17 World Cup campaign.

After the penalty shootout defeat to Arsenal in Dublin for the International Champions Cup, Sarri admitted that he was a little concerned that Willian has yet to return. The 29-year-old was initially expected to report for training on Monday but his arrival was delayed amid issues regarding his passport.

'I don't know if he is low on confidence, ' he said.

Chelsea midfielder Willian has told his lawyers to take action over a forged letter that circulated on the "football market" claiming he had given authority to another agent to represent him.

"Is it odd? I think so". "We have to wait".

"He's a young player", he said. But he will be hoping this can be his breakthrough season with the first team.

'In the future he will be a very, very strong player for sure.

New boss Maurizio Sarri could be ready to sanction a move for Giroud, with Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham ranking among their returning high-value strikers who were on loan last season.

Asked if Hudson-Odoi would remain part of his first-team squad, the Italian replied: "I think so. I think so He will be staying with us for all the season".
