Katrina Kaif replaces Priyanka Chopra in Salman Khan's 'Bharat'

An insider told Us that Nick and Priyanka could be walking down the aisle as quickly as they made the decision to get hitched, saying they "want to get married very soon".

'It was a little unprofessional of her to do it so suddenly'.

While the news of Priyanka Chopra walking out of Bharat has shocked everyone in the know, it hasn't got the film team too worked up.

The report also claims that Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez were possible alternate choices.

In fact, director Ali Abbas Zafar sent the star a sweet tweet following the claims, hinting at their happy news.

Another source told mid-day that Priyanka was keeping the makers of Bharat in the loop about her probable resignation from the project.

Priyanka was surely excited to introduce Nick to her close friend Meghan.

Inspired? Possibly, as the news of Nick and Priyanka's engagement happened just two months after she was a guest at Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's wedding at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, of which she attended with actress Abigail Spencer. "She will play the lead opposite Salman Khan now". At the end of it all, Race 3 looked more of an ensemble cast, with Bobby Deol, Freddy Daruwala and Saqib Salim, than a Salman Khan film. "That's why PeeCee thought it was in her best interest to leave the film".

A source revealed to the outlet that the "Jealous" singer met the royal couple with Chopra at their home in Oxfordshire, England shortly after Jonas asked the "Quantico" star for her hand. Hence, the engagement has come at an opportune time which satisfies everybody.

"It was probably the length of her role, but we can't be sure".

A source told USA celebrity magazine People that 25-year-old Jonas proposed last week on Chopra's 36th birthday - July 18 - in London.
