AMC Unveils FEAR THE WALKING DEAD Comic Con Trailer And Casting

I love this show. During the show's panel at San Diego Comic-Con, Lincoln took the opportunity to confirm his exit and to share some thoughts on the matter. I promise not to cry.

Despite his love for the show, it was time for Lincoln to pack up.

Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Ann Hurd and Greg Nicotero, and produced by AMC Studios.

Sounding emotional, the 44-year-old actor told the Comic-Con audience: "There seems to be an elephant in the room and I think many of you want to ask a question whether or not it is my last year". I've done enough crying on screen. This has been the most extraordinary, incredible and attractive experience of my career, made largely because of you guys and the relationship we have here with you in this room and also in the rooms across America and the rest of the world. "I suppose what I wanted to say is that my relationship with Mr. Grimes is far from over and a sort of large part of me will always be a machete-wielding, Stetson-wearing, zombie-slaying sheriff's deputy from London, England". It's been so much a part of my life, I breathed it for 10 years.

"I'm really, really excited about this season", he expressed.

"There are a couple of things I am thinking about doing but I am so in love with Rick Grimes I can not put him down". The actor, who has played the show's lead character, Rick Grimes, ever since the pilot episode aired in 2010, is set to leave the series during the events of the upcoming season 9.
