US President Donald Trump arrives in United Kingdom for four-day visit

Donald Trump has accused the United Kingdom media of "fake news" after The Sun Newspaper published an on-the-record interview in which the U.S. president criticised the prime minister's Brexit plans.

In that interview, Trump said that May's new, softer approach to Brexit-which would leave Britain sticking to a "common rulebook" with Brussels on goods-would kill off the chances of a highly sought U.S. -U.K. trade deal. And she didn't follow those views.

After the pair's talks at Chequers, during which they said they discussed Iran, North Korea, Russia and mutual trade, Trump dismissed the idea that May's Brexit plan would make a trade deal with the United States impossible. Humiliating", added Labour MP for Exeter Ben Bradshaw.ADVERTISEMENTAnother Labour MP, Rupa Huq, told The Guardian that Trump's comments about Khanm, London's first Muslim mayor, constituted Islamophobia."A dash of Islamophobia lobbed at Sadiq Khan who he blames for terrorism.

A 20-foot-tall blimp depicting President Donald Trump as a baby took flight Friday morning in London, with thousands of protesters expected to march the streets to show their discontent against the president and his policies.

The president told Mrs May she had to maintain "momentum" because "if it drags out the deal doesn't get done", according to Mr Bannon.

"If you reported them that's good", Mr Trump told the political correspondent.

Trump said he would be spending little time in London because of protests against him planned there, which an include a blimp made to look like an infant version of the president. I am just saying I think he would be a great Prime Minister.

They added: "To say the President called us "fake news" with any serious intent is, well. fake news".

Later in the press conference, Trump slammed reporter Kristen Welker after a question about Russian Federation.

A much-ballyhooed balloon of Trump as a snarling baby in diapers flew over the houses of Parliament for a couple of hours, with hundreds of people cheering as it floated upward and organizers hoping to bring it to other stops on Trump's tour of Britain, especially Turnberry in Scotland, where he will play golf at his resort Saturday. "A great job. And I mean that", Trump said.

Mr Trump used the interview with the Sun to lay into Mr Khan, who criticised the American leader as "ill-informed" over a tweet following the London Bridge attack in June 2017.

Addressing the 100-strong group, the prime minister said there was an "unprecedented" opportunity to do a deal that boosted jobs and growth in both countries.

Asked about the interview, Trump said he did not criticize the prime minister and he had a lot of respect for her. On Friday he travels to Windsor Castle, about 22 miles west of London, to meet with Queen Elizabeth II.

Trump has insisted the US-UK relationship is "the highest level of special".

Trump even took a shot at London Mayor Sadiq Khan for not taking a harder line on immigration and painted the city as a hub for terrorism.
