Stacey Dash To Star In Anti-Abortion ‘Roe v. Wade’ Film

Trump's nominee is widely expected to oppose a woman's right to an abortion, likely tilting the court to a solid majority that would vote to reverse the Roe decision. So, the crew that signed on seems a bit confused about the change of direction.

The film also stars Jon Voight (Woodlawn, Transformers), Robert Davi (Die Hard) and Stacey Dash (Clueless).

The ban did allow abortions to save a woman's life.

If the U.S. Supreme Court overturns the 45-year-old Roe v. Wade decision, Arizona could be one of the first states in the nation to ban abortion. In 1981, she testified before Congress in support of a bill that, if passed, would have allowed states to prosecute abortion as murder, The New York Times reports.

One of the executive producers of the film is Alveda King, niece of the Reverend Martin Luther King, who appears in a trailer for the film.

"ROE V. WADE is the untold story of how people lied, how the media lied, and how the courts were manipulated to pass a law that has since killed over 60 Million Americans", reads the page seeking funds for the film. "They're all saying, don't do that, you don't do that, you shouldn't do that", he told Maria Bartiromo.

She called Justice Gorsuch, for example, "an ideological mercenary", who proved his critics right.

Since filming began on June 15, a number of people involved in Loeb's production have left, including the actress playing Norma McCorvey-known as Jane Roe in the high-profile legal case-a costumer, the film's electrician and the woman who was supposed to direct the film, leaving Loeb and his production partner Cathy Allyn to co-direct, Loeb told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview. While shooting on location in Washington D.C., the location manager also resigned from her position.

Loeb told the Hollywood Reporter that, in addition to losing crew members, individuals who have been cast in the film have bailed over the movie's perspective.
