‘Game of Thrones’ Stars Rose Leslie and Kit Harington Married in Scotland

The "Game of Thrones" stars - who played lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte in HBO fantasy series - tied the knot in front of friends and family at Rayne Church in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, on Saturday.

The couple and guests arrived for the afternoon service at Rayne Church, close to the 900-year-old Wardhill Castle in northeast Scotland, which is owned by Leslie's family. The newlywed couple who met on the sets of GoT invited over 200 guests which included Game Of Thrones stars Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Emilia Clarke and many more!

The stunning bride wore a long-sleeved dress with a pretty lace veil, while her handsome groom looked traditional in a three piece suit. The fairytale wedding was decorated with paper hearts and tin cans tied to the back. "The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughters of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire".

Mr Leslie said it was also a day of celebration for the region, adding: "It's a great day for Aberdeenshire".

Leslie's character was killed two years after being introduced, while Harington went on to become one of the most popular (and highest paid) actors on TV in the subsequent seasons.

They announced their engagement past year.

"The country is lovely. the Northern Lights are magical.it was there that I fell in love".
