Gisele was pretty pumped for Brazil’s dramatic World Cup win

The result leaves the five-times world champions with four points from two games after they drew 1-1 with Switzerland in their opening match, and they provisionally rise above Serbia to top Group E.

The world's most expensive player was given a rough ride by the Swiss in a 1-1 draw on Sunday, suffering 10 fouls during the match, the most for any player in a single World Cup game for 20 years. But thanks to Xherdan Shaqiri's victor at the death, Switzerland is now a draw against Costa Rica away from moving on.

That happened in the 78th minute of the game, with Neymar dropping after feeling a slight touch on his chest, waving his hands in the air in search of a spot kick.

Even before his latest injury scare, there were doubts over Neymar's match fitness after a broken bone in his foot ended his club season with Paris Saint-Germain in February. Costa Rica have none and crashed out of the competition.

Nigeria dropped their first group match 2-0 to Croatia and are considered so far to be one of the underperforming teams of the tournament.

Fans from Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil, said that the new cut signaled a new start to the World Cup for the team. Another victory and they could secure a place in the Round of 16. "Of course we want to win".

It's Brazil who take centre stage today as they open up proceedings at 13:00 and Paul Robinson believes that they will fare better than their South American rivals did last night.
