"Fox & Friends" Anchor Accidentally Calls Donald Trump A "Dictator"

Jun 11, 2018, 12:12

Abby Huntsman, co-host of Fox & Friends and daughter of USA ambassador to Russian Federation and former Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman, made her remarks live on air while speaking to former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci.

Though he's confident he can totally play Trump, the North Korean dictator did admit Trump could surprise him by being merely played. Her guest and former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci didn't catch it. "This is history. We are living - regardless of what happens in that meeting between the two dictators - what we are seeing right now, this is historic".

Later in the segment, Huntsman apologized for the apparent mistake.

US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un are due to meet on Tuesday.

Scaramucci agreed that Trump is a "disruptive" force in the world.

Donald Trump arrived in Singapore directly from Quebec, Canada after attending G7 summit on Sunday.

"I called both President Trump and Kim Jong-un a dictator". "He's got an opportunity, the likes of which I think almost-if you look into history-very few people have ever had". I did not mean to say that. He can take that nation, with those great people, and truly make it great. "As you know on live TV, sometimes you don't always say things perfectly", she said.

Seemingly sensing Hunstman's slip, Scaramucci opted to brush the comment aside, opting instead to give the USA president some praise.
