EA E3 2018: Anthem

In addition, Bioware did claim that Anthem will have something for both those of the single-player experience (story) as well as those who enjoy multiplayer games.

"We launched our game in November of past year and clearly we didn't get it quite right", he admitted.

The fact that Battlefield has essentially committed to free post-release content for the life of the game shows that EA has reordered its priorities. The game is set between episodes 3&4; an era where Jedi are hunted down and all but eradicated.

Otherwise, the game looks spectacular.

While you can play solo, you will need an online connection to play. These exosuits, called Javelins, will be available in four different varieties suited to different playstyles, and users will be able to cycle between them at will. The new trailer surrounds a storm that's on the verge of wiping out civilization as we know it. The only thing better than seeing that we're going to get more yarn-based adventures with interesting puzzles and a delightful co-op mode? You can change suits whenever you want and each has their own unique abilities and specialties. The Clone Wars will be coming to the game too, with iconic prequel-era characters like General Grievous, Count Dooku, and Anakin Skywalker finally making their way to Battlefront 2. EA confirmed that they're a trend follower and added battle royale to Battlefield V.

Continuing to invest in its EA Originals indie publishing initiative, EA revealed a striking-looking new indie game. Did the striking Sea of Solitude take your fancy?

Thanks to a world ravaged by natural disasters, players will have to traverse Anthem's world in Iron-Man-esque suits known as javelins.

The gameplay footage gave a short look at a typical mission.

Anthem, the next game from developers Bioware, is coming out on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on the 22nd of February, 2019. EA will, however, monetise the game through paid cosmetic modifications to Javelins, much like the skins in Fortnite.

A more in-depth look at BioWare's upcoming RPG game Anthem revealed more about the game that was announced at last year's E3.
