Bale tells Bayern Munich he wants Premier League return

All the latest Manchester United transfer rumours, with updates on Gareth Bale, Victor Lindelof and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Gareth Bale has told German giants Bayern Munich that he is not interested in a move to the Bundesliga, as he would rather a return to the Premier League if he is to leave Real Madrid this summer.

Bayern had been interested in competing for the Real Madrid superstar's signature, with the Bavarian club on the look out for a long-term replacement for ageing wing duo Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.

Bale has always been on Manchester United's radar and Spanish outlet Diario Gol say Jose Mourinho has received a massive boost.

Bale hinted at a move away from Real Madrid after his match-winning display in the 3-1 Champions League win against Liverpool.

With Jose Mourinho reportedly in the market for another centre-back - namely Toby Alderweireld and Clement Lenglet - Everton are looking to lure Sweden worldwide Lindelof to Merseyside.

Reporter Castles warned Manchester United that two top defenders are required this summer if the Red Devils are to overhaul Man City.

It is claimed that Real players want the Wales forward to be sold this summer. Having fallen out of favor with outgoing coach Zinedine Zidane, the striker made his feelings public in a post-final interview: "I feel I need to be playing every week, it's something that I've always wanted to do, something I feel like I should be doing".

"For me personally, I feel I should be playing week-in and week-out and I haven't been". Ronaldo's discontent at the Bernabeu reportedly centres around the fact that it's the end of the season and he's slightly bored between now and the beginning of the World Cup.
