In Game 3, Cleveland led most of the way and trailed by one point with under two minutes remaining, but a Kevin Durant 33-foot bomb created separation for the Warriors.

Game Four will be in Cleveland Friday night at 9 PM ET, and the Warriors have opened as 4.5-point favorites.

"That was fantastic what he did out there tonight", Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. "Some of those shots, I don't think anybody in the world can hit those but him".

He's not conceding. But he is clearly tipping his cap to the Warriors, his nemesis in each of the last four Junes and a team that's one win shy of beating him in three of those series.

The Warriors took a 3-0 series lead with a 110-102 victory over the Cavaliers. And they won one game in the 2017 Finals.

After some contentious calls in the first two games, the official Twitter account of the National Basketball Association referees tweeted during game three to confirm James' pass to himself off the backboard was legal.

Durant scored nine points in a 15-8 run to close the second quarter that pulled Golden State within 58-52 at half-time after trailing by as many as 13 points.

Durant finished with a career playoff high 43 points plus 13 rebounds and 7 assists on a night when guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson made a woeful 7-of-27 combined shots.

But it wasn't enough in a game where the Cavaliers just have to try to outscore the Warriors because they can't get stops.

When it comes to pure talent, James admits the Warriors have more than the Cavaliers, but notes the Cavs have played them tight to the final minutes in two of the three losses. After Golden State had raced out to a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals, it looked like the Cavs would need either a hot shooting night or for the Warriors to suddenly go cold from deep.

"We know how they came out in Game 4 a year ago", said Curry, who has won two National Basketball Association titles with the Warriors.

The Cavaliers quickly established the lead in the game's opening minutes, scoring on their first five possessions, which included back-to-back 3-pointers by Kevin Love and J.R. Smith to open the game. "You know if you relax, they make you pay, and making you pay could cost you a game", James said.

This is a historically great group that, in response to losing to the Cavs in 2016, doggedly recruited the No. 2 player in the game. A verbal altercation ensued between the two before the formers teammates LeBron James and Tristan Thompson separated them. They're going to find any little crack to play through.

It was unclear, however, whether Iguodala can join Golden State's active roster in time for Game 3 at Cleveland on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila).

Turning Point - There were eight ties and 11 lead-changes in the second half of Game 3, but the contest might actually have been decided before the Red Panda Acrobat ever rolled her unicycle out for halftime.
