Yankees Fans Boo Trump Lawyer Rudy Giuliani On His Birthday

But when the PA announcer noted his presence and wished him a happy birthday, the crowd at Yankee Stadium reportedly wasn't feeling it.

Now that Rudy Giuliani has slipped into the twilight of his career styled as presidential lap dog with substandard legal knowledge, it is easy to forget that he used to be really popular.

Fans booed the former New York City mayor forcefully Sunday at Yankee Stadium in commemoration of his 74th birthday.

Joe Scarborough declared on Tuesday that Rudy Giuliani's public legacy is deteriorating because of his work for President Donald Trump.

Giuliani joined Trump's legal teamlast month, tasked with dealing with special counsel Robert Mueller's Russian Federation investigation. Speaking with anchor Dana Bash, the president's legal adviser admitted much of the president's assertions about "Spygate" were "an intentional strategy to undermine the investigation". But when the stadium announced that Giuliani was in attendance for his birthday, he was immediately met with loud boos from the fans in attendance.

To be fair, the announcement came when the team was down 5-1 to the Astros, so the fans took their frustration out on the former New York City Mayor.
