Deadliest Catch star Blake Painter has died at 38

A law enforcement source tells RadarOnline that Painter's body was found in his home on Friday, May 25, in OR, after a friend of the expert crab fisherman's notified police when he did not hear from him for days and became concerned.

His body was found Friday after a friend called the Clatsop County Sheriff's Office after not hearing from him for days. No foul play is suspected in Painter's death, according to the report.

Authorities say a friend of Painter's became anxious after not hearing from him for a couple of days and contacted police who went to Painter's home, where they determined he had been dead for several days. When officers arrived at the home, they determined that Painter had been dead for several days.

An autopsy and toxicology test are to be performed on Painter, who appeared on the second and third seasons of Deadliest Catch.

The Discovery Channel reality-TV show, now in its 14th season, is about crab fishing in Alaska, reputed to be one of the most deadly professions in the world.

At the time, he was also charged with unlawful possession of heroin, tampering with physical evidence, and reckless driving.

Deadliest Catch's Blake Painter has died, TMZ reports.
