Man Starts Fight On Flight After Attendant Wouldn't Serve Beer

Jason Felix had apparently downed a couple of brewskies when he started screaming at flight attendants Wednesday on flight 1293 from St. Croix to Miami, Local 10 News reported. When the attendant opened the door to check, Felix slammed it back shut and relocked it.

Shocking footage taken by a fellow passenger Bill Bolduc shows Jason Felix repeatedly punching another man who asked him to calm down after a flight attendant refused to give him beer.

"You need to please sit down, I'm not bringing you more beers".

"Yes, I'm your bartender", he says.

Fellow passengers tried to calm Felix down by talking to him, asking him to "relax" and "chill".

In a statement American Airlines issued to ABC News, they thanked the flight crew for taking care of the other customers onboard and praised them for how well they handled the situation. The flight staff also intervened to restrain the man.

The passenger, who was identified to WPLG by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents as Jason Felix, began yelling at a flight attendant on Flight 1293 on Wednesday after he stopped serving him alcohol, according to documents obtained by the news station.

The infuriated passenger hurled insults at the airline staff, and threatened to kill his seatmate before involving in a scuffle with him.

In a series of videos posted to YouTube, Felix can be seen becoming increasingly aggressive and threatening. "That man is going to lose his job", Felix said during his expletive-laced tirade. "At one point, there was a discussion of diverting the aircraft and landing before Miami, but we made it there without additional people being hurt".

At least four police officers boarded the plane. As Felix grew even more tensed, he began to shove his male seatmate's legs out of the way so he could confront the flight attendant. Felix pulled out his ear buds, seemed to argue with them for a few seconds, but eventually let them escort him off the plane.
