Trump thanks Kanye for improving his numbers with black voters

It was Kanye's recent rants on Twitter that reportedly put Kim Kardashian over the edge. In a series of several tweets on the issue, Kanye said that he was speaking more on the terms of "mental slavery" citing a fake Harriett Tubman quote "I could have saved thousands [of slaves] if only I'd been able to convince them that they were slaves".

After West embraced Trumpism in late April over Twitter, Reuters released a poll showing a doubling of support for the president with African-American men, jumping from 11 percent to 22 percent in just one week.

President Donald Trump spoke at the National Rifle Association annual convention in Dallas, Texas on Friday.

YouTube/MTVKanye West receives Video Vanguard award at 2015 Video Music Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday August 30, 2015. "And everybody who has been there to support him forever", Jenner explained. West raps lines like "Make America Great Again had a negative perception/I took it, wore it, rocked it, gave it a new direction". You remember I come to big rooms, big audiences and I would say what do you have to lose?

"Thanks to your activism and dedication, you have an administration fighting to protect your Second Amendment and we will protect your Second Amendment", he told the crowd.

"Kim's one of my closest friends and I would never talk publicly about my closest friend", she explained.

One person who was unhappy with Kanye's words was professional boxer Adrien Broner, who took to Instagram to dismiss Kanye's words and suggest to the artist "shit gotta stop".

Kanye is getting backlash from his family and his friends with Jenner the only port in this storm.

West has angered much of his fan base by expressing his support for Mr Trump. As reported in the CNN tweet above, even radio stations are now refusing to play his music.
