Steven Gerrard to resume Rangers manager talks this week

Steven Gerrard has broken his silence on rumours linking him to the Rangers manger's job, confirming he's already held "positive" talks with the club's hierarchy.
The Liverpool icon explained to Lineker on Tuesday night at the start of BT Sport'sChampions League coverage that further negotiations with Rangers will take place on Thursday.
"There's truth in the rumours", said Gerrard.
"But when you've got a chairman in Dave King asking for a rapid response and that he is going to provide all the funds needed to sustain and make possible that immediate success, it heaps a massive amount of pressure on Steven Gerrard".
"We'll see. I've held positive talks with them".
It is also thought Gerrard wants assurances that he will have the final say on which players come in as he will have to work under director of football Mark Allen, the former Manchester City academy head.
