Cardi B Sets New First-Week Streaming Record on Apple Music

SZA appears on "I Do", a fan favorite off Cardi's debut album Invasion of Privacy.

With 100 million streams for her debut album "Invasion of Privacy", Cardi B set a record for most first-week streams by a female artist on Apple Music, according to Apple.

For those keeping track at home, that's more than double the number of streams that Taylor Swift's 2017 album Reputation garnered during its debut week.

Meet the new queen of stream on Apple Music.

Cardi B has broken an Apple Music streaming record previously held by Taylor Swift.

Cardi later mentioned she will be paid $70,000 for each of the two weekends she'll take the stage, but that means she'll still be investing a huge amount in her own stage set. The first song to hit number one was Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)".

Listening to "Bodak Yellow", "Motorsport", "No Limit" and "Bartier Cardi", we had to wonder if the Bronx, New York native could deliver a solid album - and she did just that.

"Invasion Of Privacy" has been streamed 100 million times worldwide in the week following its release, more than doubling Swift's previous record.

Her song "I Like It" with Bad Bunny and J. Balvin is the most streamed song worldwide from the album.
