Ronda Rousey reacts to her successful WrestleMania 34 in-ring experience

The kickoff show began with the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and for whatever the match might have lacked in the early stages, it left a lasting final impression.

Men wrestling women can be a tricky prospect.

In a vacuum, this might have been an entertaining match, but with the fans totally not interested (beach balls and Mexican waves were frequent) and the pace so painfully slow, it was looking like topping Goldberg vs. Lesnar's first tussle as the most hated Mania match of all-time.

And in the women's contest, SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, daughter of WWE legend Ric Flair, ended the 914-day undefeated streak of Asuka.

After Bobby Roode announced that he wanted his title rematch at WrestleMania, Rusev and Jinder Mahal were added to the match for winning matches over the champion, Randy Orton. And while Rousey got her win via armbar submission after teasing it all match, it didn't stop moments like this.

It led to the tag-team match, with Ronda and Kurt Angle teaming up to take on Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon.

The SmackDown Tag Team Championship was on the line following that match with The Usos defending against The New Day and The Bludgeon Brothers. She'll be the Brock Lesnar of the women's division, but with more appearances and a better attitude.

The Undertaker, who appeared to retire at the conclusion of WrestleMania a year ago, had been challenged to a match by John Cena and remained unresponsive. His iconic music hit as Cena walked up the ramp, convinced his challenge had gone unmet.

But when a disappointed Cena trudged back up the ramp, the lights went out again and Taker's trademark hat and cloak appeared in the ring.

And when he arrogantly mocked him, Undertaker sat up, caught Cena and defeated him with a huge chokeslam and Tombstone piledriver.

By being one half of the RAW Tag Team Champions, Nicholas is now the youngest person in WWE history to hold a belt. It was beyond awesome to see Bryan look as good as ever. Shinsuke Nakamura and much more.

It's far from uncommon to have a celebrity match at WrestleMania.

Braun (and Nicholas) won the match eventually, with Nicholas being tagged in once and seemingly not fully enjoying the experience. It was something to behold to put things mildly. This was terrible and there's no other way to describe it. For what felt like the tenth Mania in a row, the crowd tuned out of the main event and turned on those involved. Lesnar retains the Universal title in what might be one of Wrestlemania's biggest upsets, given the UFC rumors. The Miz looked like a character off Naruto while Seth Rollins looked absolutely insane with blue contacts and it's 100 per cent the reason why he's the new Intercontinental champ. How will Asuka respond to losing? Rousey's face goes from a smile to a frown. Nicholas vowed to return in the future.

These questions will be answered soon enough.

Fans seemed very impressed by what they saw. While WrestleMania was over six hours long, we picked out and broke down the five hottest highlights from the star-studded event.
