Bayern Munich warms up for quarters clash

With no more distractions in the league, Bayern rank among the favourites to win this year's Champions League. Bayern nipped Sevilla, 2-1, in the first leg last week at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

"I do not think there will be any drop of tension from us because it is now that we have to be careful", winger Arjen Robben said.

The 72-year-old Heynckes led Bayern to the 2013 Champions League title when Arjen Robben scored the victor in a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund.

So it's fair to say that it's pretty hard to win that many league titles unless you last in the game for a long time, well Bayern's Kingsley Coman has completely screwed over that theory.

"Sevilla performed magnificently well at Manchester United (in the last 16), so they have performed at big grounds", added the former England global.

The Spanish club, which beat Manchester United in the round of 16, needs to overturn a 2-1 deficit at the Allianz Arena against the newly crowned Bundesliga champions to reach the last four of the competition.

Despite so little form to go on, Sky Sports claim that a number of European giants have asked Chelsea to inform them if they wish to sell.

It took a goal from their opponents before Bayern started to kick things into high gear, and still only managed to score one with a lucky own goal from Navas to bring their tally up to two.

Kenedy has been given regular first team opportunities by manager Rafa Benitez, and has scored two goals in eight appearances for the Magpies so far, impressing with his forays up the left flank.

"We're in a good mood, we're hungry and our big goal is to reach the semi-finals", said Heynckes.

The 29-year-old Sevilla midfielder is back for from suspension after having missed the first leg.

Under Heynckes' successor Pep Guardiola, Bayern were knocked out at the semi-final stage in each of his three seasons - every time at the hands of Spanish opposition. In their most recent match, head coach Vincenzo Montella's side was blanked by Celta Vigo, 0-4, on the road at Balaidos last Saturday.

Sevilla are winless in four games since winning at Old Trafford.
