Fortnite Update 3.4 Will Add Vending Machines

To help players find them, Reddit user clizzythegod posted a handy map created by FortniteIntel that places arrows at each location where a vending machine can be found.

With the 3.4 content update's release, Vending Machines will be scattered across the island in Battle Royale.

The big addition to battle royale with this week's content update is the Vending Machine. This is especially true close to the item's launch, where many curious players will be hunting down vending machines just to get a look at them. The vending machine would display each at a time and gradually rotate through them. The higher the rarity, the higher the price. These would each pick randomly a rarity and then vend three items at that level in exchange for the materials. Common items start at 100 materials, for example, while legendary items will set players back 500.

"Every other week we will drop new content without the need for an update". Vending Machines will offer a distinct offensive advantage for players who utilize them smartly, but also force them to choose wisely about how they use their materials.

Items found in a Rare (blue) version will cost 300 materials. The machines will cycle through the options automatically, or you can hit them with your pickaxe to speed up the process.

Items found in an Epic (purple) version will cost 400 materials.

On top of all of that, there will also be a number of different adjustments to other weapons, which will be getting First Shot Accuracy. You can see the specifics in the full patch notes on Epic's website.
