Marvel is promising "a completely immersive Super Hero universe" at Disney's California Adventure park, which will build on the successful launch of Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! from previous year.
As Disney's Marvel universe continues to conquer the box office, the Mouse House plans to grow the comic universe even more in their theme parks. That attraction is joining the Iron Man Experience, which opened previous year and is already the most popular at the resort, according to Disney.
At Disneyland Resort, the new themed land will be anchored by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure park, which has become the highest-rated attraction at Disneyland Resort since its 2017 opening. California Adventure already is the home of the "Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!" attraction.
Disneyland Paris will host a Marvel Summer of Super Heroes event from June 10 to September 20, where "heroes will take the stage for a brand new, live-action super-production featuring cutting-edge special effects and spectacular projections", according to a press release.
After the conversion of the Hollywood Tower of Terror ride to the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! ride previous year, the company announced it will shutter its A Bug's Life-themed park later this summer to make way for Marvel Land. This new attraction will join the Iron Man Experience, which opened in 2017 and is already the most popular attraction at the resort. The attraction will be joined by ones involving Spider-Man and the Avengers.
California's Disneyland isn't the only park to be getting the Avengers treatment.
Disneyland Paris will have a new ride that will allow guests to team up with Iron Man and the Avengers on an adventure. That area will be added to the Iron Man Experience, which was added to the park a year ago and is already one of its most popular attractions.
