Elizabeth Hurley's nephew involved 'in a brutal attack' in London

The actress branded the four men who stabbed her nephew, 21-year-old Miles Hurley, on Thursday as "animals" and hoped they will be caught before they hurt or even kill someone.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "A 21-year-old man was discovered with stab wounds to his back". Another man, believed to be the same age, was also found suffering from stab wounds. Both were taken to the hospital and thankfully, "their conditions are described as not life-threatening or life-changing", according to police. Our hearts are with Elizabeth and her family during this time.

A source told the Sun: "His family feared the worst. Fortunately.it seems the knife missed his vital organs".

Elizabeth, who has been filming and promoting her series "The Royals", was seen arriving at Heathrow Airport the following day, probably to visit Miles as he recuperates.

"Here's my handsome nephew", she Tweeted.

She explained that a patrolling police officer spotted the victim in distress and tended to his injuries until emergency crews arrived.

Thought to be very close with his aunt, in March 2017 he posted a sweet throwback snap on Instagram of his mother Kate Curran and Elizabeth, writing, "Love & appreciation for all the strong, happy and independent women around me".

On the day of the attack, Miles had paid tribute to his aunt in a post celebrating International Women's Day.

The 21-year-old model has done photo shoots for fashion king Roberton Carvalli and Dolce & Gabbana.

The actress - who had been busy in the USA promoting the fourth season of her television show The Royals - has rushed back to the United Kingdom to be with her family.

Miles said: I'm really close to my aunt and she's very supportive of everything I do'.
