Allegiant Brings 5 New Nonstop Flights To Nashville International Airport

Allegiant Air will start offering new nonstop service from Syracuse to Orlando starting May 30.

The new route is expected to bring almost 11,000 additional visitors to the area, according to a press release.

"There is great demand for travel between these handsome cities, and we're sure that folks will take advantage of our convenient, ultra-low cost, nonstop service to enjoy all that Music City has to offer".

"Syracuse is an exciting addition to Allegiant's many nonstop destinations from Orlando Sanford", said Diane Crews, the airport's president and CEO, in a statement.

In February, low-priced carrier Frontier Airlines announced it would start offering seasonal nonstop flights from Savannah to Denver and Philadelphia.

Allegiant added the service to "meet the demand that exists in the market", Christina Callahan, executive director of Syracuse Hancock International Airport, tells BJNN. Service to Nashville begins June 8 with fares as low as $47. Learn more about other fees and services here.

The new seasonal flights will operate twice weekly from Richmond International Airport to Nashville International Airport (BNA).

Dates, times and prices for flights through August 2018 are now available on the airline's website.

The Charlotte County Airport Authority (CCAA) agrees that Nashville is an excellent destination to add to Allegiant's growing number of non-stop routes from Punta Gorda.
