Rain, wind and turning sharply colder; March comes in like a lion!

There could still be some lingering areas of rain or lighter showers through the early evening before we clear out overnight as Northwest breezes pick up behind the departing front. Early next week looks dry with more rain returning by late next Tuesday.

Rain chances through the morning will remain low with isolated showers drifting eastward.

Quiet weather pattern settles in for a few days with above normal temperatures.

After a soggy start to our Thursday, a passing cold front has pushed most of the wet weather off to our east.

Clouds will increase Tuesday night and showers will spread across the Midlands on Wednesday. A cold front pushes through Tuesday, potentially dropping temperatures into the 30s Tuesday night. Temperatures will warm back up over 10 degrees above average Rain chances work their way back in to the start of the week next week with our high temperatures staying in the lower 50's. The air behind it will be dry once again and also cool; in fact, some of the coolest air we've seen in a while, though highs will still be in the 60s. Cooler temperatures around 40 are likely by sunrise.

We expect the clouds to gradually clear out.

High temperatures today will be close to seasonal in the low to mid 60's today.

Friday afternoon highs top out in the upper 60s, with sunshine expected throughout the day.
