Pakistan stands behind Kashmiris, says Pak PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

"But they do not have the strength to separate Kashmir from us", said Rajnath Singh during a public rally here. With all our political differences aside, there is no second opinion in Pakistan on the Kashmir dispute.

Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said on Monday that Kashmiris are waiting for the worldwide community to wake up and hold the United Nations-promised plebiscite, Geo News reported.

He said the whole Pakistani nation stood with the oppressed Kashmiri people and was showing complete solidarity with them.

He said that "immediately after such attacks, so-called Kashmiri Rulers and authorities rush to issue statements of condemnation and probes but till now no criminal or assailant has been penalized or even booked".

Stressing upon unity for highlighting the Kashmir issue at all the worldwide fora, the prime minister said the issue would remain alive till its peaceful resolution as per the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and the United Nations resolutions.

Adding further, he said development will elude Tripura until the BJP is voted to power."I can tell you there would be no development until the BJP comes to power".

"Kashmiris are not alone in their generation-to-generation struggle for their freedom from Indian yoke as every Pakistani stands with them", the minister said while addressing a Kashmir Conference at Anwar Club Auditorium in Sialkot.

"The BJP knows how to run an effective government for distribution of fruits of development", he said.

He also appreciated former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif for his efforts to highlight the Kashmir issue and making defence of Pakistan invincible.

He said that the Kashmir government should remain focused on providing better governance and raising the Kashmir cause at global fora.
