Apple launches iPhone 7 fix program for models showing 'no service'

Smoke from an iPhone battery has sent two Hong Kong Apple store employees to hospital.

This is despite the launch of the iPhone X in November, the phone that marked the ten year anniversary of the iPhone and featured the device's first all-screen front panel and facial recognition technology.

"Apple shipped a record 22 million iPhones for the first time ever in a quarter in the USA which is an impressive feat because the Q4 promotional season was not almost as aggressive as previous years", Research Director Jeff Fieldhack said in a statement.

One lawsuit was filed by Hagens Berman, a law firm that received a $450 million judgement against Apple for fixing the price of eBooks.

Apple CEO Tim Cook told a different story, describing it as its top-selling model in every week since its release in early November.

Profit aside, that hasn't stopped people from finding things to complain about. Apple had a net margin of 21.13% and a return on equity of 37.84%.

"The smartphone industry overall is maturing".

Apple also announced a goal to use almost all of its $163 billion in net cash, hinting at more stock buybacks, dividends or acquisitions.

Apple sold a record 22.39 million smartphones in the USA in the holiday season past year, increasing its market share from 37 per cent to 44 per cent, a report said on January 31. Compare that with Samsung's 2.2% (and declining) share and it's easy to see that Apple will continue to hold steady in that geography. "In some cases, there may be a cost associated with the additional fix", adds the dedicated Apple website.

As for the iPhone itself, the company has proved beyond reasonable doubt that it can sustain sales even without any true innovation. If you believe you paid for a fix related to this issue, and have not received an email from Apple by the end of March 2018, please contact Apple. Without disputing the numbers, Cook said he had a "different view" of them, praised the "reliability" of iPhones, and finally said, "It's not something we overly fixate on". Take a look at the image below for a visual aspect. Lastly, iPhones that qualify for the program must be purchased less than two years ago. Private Vista LLC acquired a new position in Apple in the second quarter valued at approximately $122,000.

Sadly, there seems to be little or no major innovation planned for this year's iPhone line-up. "It's customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction is literally off the charts on iPhone X". The company also gave a lower-than-expected revenue forecast for the March quarter.
