Battle for Azeroth pre-purchase is live

An announcement from Blizzard's official site has revealed that the latest expansion in the company's flagship MMO, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, is to be released this summer.

A standard copy of the game will set you back $49.99, whereas the Deluxe Edition comes in at $69.99 and includes a number of bonus items across multiple Blizzard titles.

In addition there are the new Allied Races to play as, a new Heart of Azeroth artifact which unlocks new powers in your equipment, and of loads of new content and associated rewards to keep you busy your way to the new level cap of 120.

One of the coolest perks of pre-purchasing Battle for Azeroth is that you can try out one of the four new playable Allied Races, which were first referenced in Legion.

Battle for Azeroth is set to launch on or before 21 September 2018. If you play for the Alliance, the Void elves and the Lightforged draenei will be accessible; if you play for the Horde, the Nightborne and Highmountain tauren will be available. Every preorder, whether standard or Digital Deluxe, also includes a free boost to level 110 for one character. Once unlocked, the Allied Races will be available account-wide, but they have to be rolled on a server with an existing Level 110 character.

A more expensive Digital Deluxe Edition (£53) offers a Seabraid Stallion Alliance mount or Gilded Ravasaur Horde mount in World of Warcraft, and a cute baby Tortollan pet.

StarCraft II: Make your mark on distant worlds with Horde- and Alliance-themed sprays. The Zandalari Trolls and Dark Iron Dwarves will not be available until players have actually played through Battle for Azeroth's leveling experience. For Heroes of the Storm, you get a Primal Flamesaber mount, which has three variants. You also get player icons for Kul Tiras and Zandalar; along with sprays featuring Anduin, Sylvanas, Jaina, and Varok Saurfang artwork.
