Australia wins toss, bowls in 4th ODI vs. England

What time does Australia vs England, 4th ODI start?

Pat Cummins believes Australia can take confidence out of their victory over England at Adelaide Oval and carry the momentum of their victory into the final ODI in Perth on Monday.

4-3 - Bairstow c Paine b Hazlewood 0 (4.2 overs): A flashy cover drive but enough movement away to catch the edge through to the keeper. However, they would love now to end the series on a high with the T20I tri-series to follow also involving New Zealand.

Woakes, who has chipped in with four wickets and 92 runs in the series, added: 'Trevor [Bayliss] and Morgy have mentioned it.

The 29-year-old last played for the one-day side on the tour of India last September.

Four of England's top-six batsmen made ducks and the tourists didn't hit a boundary until the 15th over.

They do have the capacity for spectacular failure.

Even if the whitewash does not materialise, it is England's first ever bilateral series win in Australia.

Jason Roy's second-ball drive to backward point can be forgiven because that sort of aggressive intent is England white-ball policy these days.

On other days, all four shots would go for four.

With Mitchell Starc rested, it was a bold call - but after seven overs, it looked to be the right one as England's top order crumbled.

We look at the good and bad following Australia's three-wicket victory.

Chris Woakes scored 78 as England recovered to post a score of 196 in their 50 overs, but opener Travis Head's 96 helped Australia to 197-7 and a comfortable consolation win with 13 overs to spare.

"You don't come out to Australia and win too often, so once you've got your foot on the throat you want to keep it down".

Having retained the urn against England in The Ashes series, Australia have been dismal in the ODIs so far.

"We have to find ways to play and England chase very well".

"Full credit to Australia. Unfortunately, we needed something extra special which didn't come".

The Australia skipper was altogether more complimentary of his opening bowlers, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins who took a combined seven wickets, and the platform they gave the team from which to build. "The wicket here has been brilliant for a few years with pace and bounce".

"I feel like I've changed a little bit over the last period of time where I'm able to work my way through situations instead of just going ahead and blasting it", he said.

"I guess you could say and they've showed us how to play".
