Brady returns to full practice, Gronk not ready yet

If Super Bowl LII took place on Sunday, Gronkowski would have been inactive.

Brady in his career has won 4 Super Bowl MVP awards, Super Bowl XXXVI, XXXVIII, XLIX, and LI.

Defensive lineman Malcom Brown (foot) also missed practice on Friday for the second straight day.

According to Ryan Hannable of, Gronkowski was not spotted by the media during the Patriots' Friday walkthrough at Empower Field House.

Wednesday's injury report is notable because it's the first time the Patriots have acknowledged Gronkowski suffered a concussion.

Given his status, our models project Gronkowski to tally 2.4 catches, 29.5 yards and 0.35 touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles. Gronkowski left the game and didn't return with a concussion. Brown would have been listed as questionable along with running back Mike Gillislee and right tackle LaAdrian Waddle while Wise would have been ruled out for a game. Quarterback #Tom Brady and safety Devin McCourty were full participants in Friday's practice so they were removed from the injury report.

Tom Brady was at practice, however, he was still wearing a glove, likely to protect his throwing hand, which received 12 stitches last week.
