Home and Away actress Jessica Falkholt has her life support

Despite reports that the 29-year-old Home And Away actress had passed away, a St George Hospital spokesperson has said that Jessica remains in a 'critical condition'.

The Daily Telegraph and Mail Online reported the life support switched off one day after the funeral for her sister Annabelle, 21, and parents Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60.

In the wake of the heartbreaking news, which was reported by The Daily Telegraph, fans flocked to Twitter to pay tribute to the beloved actress.

Annabelle died in hospital a few days after the crash, with Jessica remaining in a coma - unaware that her family lost their lives.

Jessica's dad Lars, 69, and mum Vivian, 60, died at the scene of the vehicle crash, as did the driver of the other auto, Craig Anthony Whitall, 50.

Falkholt's family were laid to rest after a funeral at St Mary's Catholic Church in Concord on Wednesday. Everything we have done and every decision we have made has been done with the advice of doctors and social workers.

"D" Jess was a very private girl and while we're thankful for public thoughts and interest, we are just trying to honour what she'd want".

'It is a day that will be hard to erase from our memory, ' Paul Ponticello said.

Broadcaster Network Seven said in a statement last month: "Although her time on set was brief, once a part of the Home and Away family, always part of the family".

He also thanked the "saviours" who risked their lives to pull Annabelle and Jessica from the inferno.

The driver of the other auto, Craig Anthony Whitall, 50, did not survive the crash.

"Whenever he'd ask to drive somewhere I'd suggest a time for an average driver and add on some additional time for the "Lars factor" because he was so careful".

Commenting on the tragedy, a Twitter user lamented: "So sad to hear about Jessica Falkholt, who was Hope in Home And Away, and her family's fatal auto accident".
