PRINCESS Charlotte has started nursery school, with her mother Catherine the Duchess of Cambridge photographing her beaming as she headed off to school on a freezing London winter's day.
The fourth-in-line to the throne will be a full-time pupil at the school, which charges fees of just over $5000 AU a term.
Today marked the Princess's first day at the school - and the Palace marked the occasion by sharing photos of her dressed and ready to learn.
A spokesperson for the school said at the time, "We are delighted that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen the Willcocks Nursery School for Princess Charlotte". "We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January". Though Charlotte looks a little more excited, the resemblance is evident.
In the sweet shots, Princess Charlotte is all smiles and looking 0h-so-very-British in her red coat and matching red shoes and bow.
The duchess is a keen photographer and when Princess Charlotte was born, she chose to take the official pictures herself.
