Women's Rights Activists To Walk Golden Globes Red Carpet With Actresses

Tonight, in the latest move from the TIME'S UP campaign, several actresses are bringing advocates and activists with them to the Golden Globes.
It's an nearly certainty that all of these women will be wearing black, an initiative organised by the Time's Up campaign to stand in solidarity with those who experience sexual harassment, assault or abuse across all industries.
In their joint red carpet interview, King spoke before Stone.
Emma Watson will be joined by Marai Larasi, the executive director of Imkaan, a leading Black-feminist network organization, while Meryl Streep is to show up with Ai-jen Poo, the director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance and co-director of the Caring Across Generations Campaign. When Seacrest asked Streep what Graham would make of this #MeToo moment and the sea of black on the red carpet, Streep said, "I'd think she would be so heartened".
The ceremony comes amidst a wave of change in Hollywood following on from October's revelations against Harvey Weinstein, and now Wood is among many who are attempting to find new ways top help women speak out.
"We want to encourage all women - from those who live in the shadows to those who live in the limelight, from all walks of life, and across generations - to continue to step forward and know that they will be supported when they do".
