The new NOKIA 6 is the midrange device you've been waiting for!

That's still not going to change anytime soon as according to a TENAA listing, HMD Global has adopted a 16:9 display again, even for the Nokia 6 (2018). The launch is exclusive to the Chinese market as of now and the company may make an announcement regarding the launch for other global markets at the MWC 2018 event.

We hope this time Nokia will note delay the India launch and will offer the device in India by February - March 2018. The side profile is similar to what we have seen in the previous generation model launched past year and is robust as well. The optics is based on the NOKIA 5 camera module and so expect f/2.0 aperture.

But due to the lack of Oreo at launch, fans will miss out on Google's coveted Treble feature, which helps customers get software updates from phone makers much more quickly.

Should you get this over the standard Nokia 6 though? While the 2017 model had a front-facing fingerprint scanner, the latest version carries it to the back and also loses the capacitive keys in favour of on-display navigation buttons. It lets you capture pictures and videos from the front and rear camera simultaneously.

Apart from that, however, the new Nokia 6 comes with roughly the same specifications from previous year. New Nokia 6 (2018) will keep the screen frame, which will also receive a Full HD resolution and a diagonal of 5.5 inches, although this format is in 2018 is no longer relevant.

For photography, the Nokia 7 sports a 16 MP camera at the back and a 5 MP camera on the front. The smartphone supports expandable storage up to 128GB via a microSD card.

In addition, the Nokia 6 (2018) packs a 3000mAh battery that backings quick charging innovation. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with 4GB RAM. It also has support for fast charging.

The Nokia 6 (2018) is available in Black with orange accents and White with red accents.

Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 8 both features a 16MP rear sensor with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF and LED flash, along with an 8MP front camera.
